aQuarium!
Nov.4, 2006
Me and Melissa decided we have been having to much of the fun that includes drinking tons of alcohol and spending tons of money (that we don’t have, especially after my Korea midadventure)…so we decided to have a day free of frivolous money spending and alcohol consumption…ya know that good ole fashion kind of fun…the kind that you remember the next morning. So we settled on going to the Niigata Aquarium, to the beach for sunset, out to dinner and a movie. At this very moment, it sounds vaguely like a date, BUT it wasn’t! I SWEAR. Girl’s Day Out!
exhibits fish that live off the coast of Niigtata and enables you to observe up close (but not too upclose) the differences between each speicies habititas and behavior.
In any other circumstance, the Japanese would put this on a plate and call it dinner...I guess this one was the chosen "lucky" one! I wonder what they'll do with it when it dies...look for it in a restaurant near you...coming soon

More random fish... we were joking that the Japanese were probably looking at them, licking their lips saying "Oishii!" I mean afterall they are some thick' ems...

The Big Daddy sting ray...just a year ago I was swimming with these in the Caribbean and just a few weeks ago one of these brutally mudered Steve Erwin! So from now on, Ill be viewing them from the safety of land. What was I thinking?!?

THE DOLPHIN SHOW!!!
I was trying to stand up really straight but instead I just look AWKWARD!

Its funny that this sign is in English since everyone in Japan can read English and everything...it is OBVIOUSLY really helpful...maybe they'll get the point from the bleeding hand and the laughing dolphin.

I should really be a professional photographer huh? I was soo proud of myself for this pic...but how come the lil guy is squeezed in the middle, that seems kinda unfair!

...PENGUINS!...
From early on, Marinepia Nihonkai has endeavored to protect eh endangered species of Humboldt Penguins and has helped to mantain healthy populations within Japan

Japan Sunset!

Not nearly as beautiful..
but something that made me feel at home. But why is it in Romaji (English Alphabet) b/c that is definetely not Kanji! This is the only piece of graffiti that Ive seen in Japan so I had to take a picture...People were probably wondering why this crazy girl was taking a picture of the wall....so there you have it!

1 Comments:
Man, that sea lion was a hundred times bigger than he looks in the picture.
