So I know that Tokyo was forever a long time ago but I finally got the pics from Terren! So I'll post the last of 'em and then kiss Tokyo good bye. Parting is such sweet sorrow! Tokyo, how I miss thee! But dont worry, ILL BE BAAACKKKK!

@ Tokyo Train Station
About 12 million people (10 percent of Japan's population) live within Tōkyō-to's prefectural boundaries, its no wonder that this train station is one of the busiest train stations in the world

Have you ever heard of Roulette Food? Like Russian Roulette it is attempting to beat the odds, only with food. You can order tackoyaki and there will be 8 on the plate 1 of which is filled with something disgusting like natto or 100% Wasabe. These themed places also offer this specialty food. It was sooo hard to resist being repulsed by my food, but somehow...I managed to stay away from that side of the menu.

This is street art in Daikanyama. It was soo cool. The guy kept perfectly still regardless of the fact it was freezing outside! We decided to stare and poke at him until he moved!

Guess what...he didnt move! Now this is the kind of art I like!


I think its so wierd that the Japanese go all out for Christmas and they dont even really know what it is all about. Today when I was telling my students about Christmas, they didnt even know why we celebrate it! They never heard of elves or mistletoe or Rudolph. They think that Candy Canes arent candy at all, they are only ornaments and that Santa only has 1 reindeer. I was shocked!!! I was like: CHANGE OF PLANS! Today we are talking about Christmas for the whole class...this is some real education...forget all that grammar stuff!
