So Melissa finally gave me the pictures from a while back, so this is a hodgepodge of random pictures that fill in the blanks to my old blogs.
Saya-chan
So damn cute..I cant help but to like the lil rascal
Dolphin Show, Dolphin Show!!
The girls in
We know something you don’t know!
Me and Will in Shame @ 3:00 a.m delirious and wanting to go home. Only problem: we missed the last train and had to wait until the first train @ 5:15 A.M. to take us home! Only 2 more hours to go by this point.
Me and Russell – also known simply as ASS.
Don’t take my picture or I’ll punch you in the face.
This picture makes me miss summer and tank-top weather. This is Tokamachi. These are art exhibits that are left up all year for people to enjoy and visit. This one is made after Japanese popular children’s fairy tales. Even though you aren’t supposed to ride the art, we figured no one was around so it would be okay. And since we are foreigners, they wouldn’t say anything to us anyways. Either way, we get away with it. Just like Mellissa getting away with going the wrong way down a one way road. The cop turns on his siren and she pulls over. He gets out of his car and approaches her car, probably ready to give her a ticket. As soon as he realizes that she is a foreigner, he stops dead in his tracks, slowly backs away from her car, never actually turning his back to her (after all you never know what those crazy geijin are capable of), APOLOGIZES to her and scurries away!
The weirdest parking garage
This is my car lifted into mid air. When you drive into the parking lot, you back up onto this conveyer belt looking thing, and get out of the car. A man comes around and pushes a button that lifts your car up into the air, where it stays until you are ready to leave. This way more cars can be stored in one place. The Japanese think of EVERYTHING…it would be a dirty trick if the guy decided to take a lunch break and left my car hoisted in mid-air and me stuck in the parking garage with nowhere to go.
